hi there. Today is another milestone in HELP Toastmaster's club history. Election of new Executive Committee for the Jan 2010-Jun 2010 term...First off, the normal meeting. I presented my first speech entitled" breaking the duck", literally translating into my first time.though it's not quite relevant with the ice-breaker topic, but it does work anyway. The only regret that it was only done in less than 48 hours, I just did it off the fly. Without any proper preparation. Too many things to speak on. Just hating it..I could not access my MSN yesterday and Friday because of the !@#$%^^&&** server blocking my WLM 8.5. I install WLM 14 over it..it didn;t work!!! ASDFGHJK/// Then have to install back my WLM 8.5 and put it in compatibility mode to WIndows 2000 SP4!! The problem is solved only when I used the downloader to install WLM 14..really bad design..last time if want MSN Messenger only download the installer..now you download all together...=((

To open up your mind, you need to change the way you think. 1. Avoid blaming your past. Push those negative feelings away and enter new situations with an open mind. 2. Remember you can't be liked all of the time, so just be yourself. 3. Don't expect to get everything right, learn to accept that some things go wrong. 4. Avoiding challenges may be safe and comfy, but you'll never learn. Setting small challenges would help to boost self-confidence.

Today's just another ordinary day. Went to Pasar Malam at Bangsar Baru and saw these people selling handphone covers. Bought one for my olde Nokia 1100 phone, which is in dire need for replacement. Worn out buttons and broken cover. RM8 only, a surprise since the shop sell it for RM10? WTH? well nothing much. As we all know I renamed the blog to reflect on my life right now. I want to start my life on a new slate, forgetting the past that was sweet, with a sad ending to it. No need to mention, I did not even get my first corporate scholarship and thus my dreams to go overseas to work went with it, for now. On a better note, I did many firsts this past few months! First time doing public speaking, first time doing movie outing (without my mum's permission of course) and first time in my life I ever stayed up till 1.30am in the morning. Doing assignments till the last minute-first time, and first time in my life I less studied. First time in my life having a new handphone, a 3G Nokia N3120 Classic that I named "Aires". First time I did ever realise I fell for my hot, girl-next-door looking, neighbour, though it was too late. More updates coming soon..kinda apologize that my laziness is taking a toll on me.

Brawn pair amongst five given Suzuka penalties Championship rivals Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello are amongst five drivers to have been given grid penalties following qualifying for the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka. The Brawn GP pair, as well as Force India's Adrian Sutil, Renault's Fernando Alonso and Toro Rosso driver Sebastien Buemi were handed five place penalties by stewards after the session. The penalties for Button, Barrichello, Sutil and Alonso came for failing to slow sufficiently for the yellow flags brought out in the second phase of qualifying following the accident for Buemi, who has also been given a reprimand as well as a five place penalty of his own for impeding other drivers as he brought his damaged car back to the pits. Well, as you are reading this post at the moment, the people in Manila, Philippines, Samoa and American Samoa is in grief. The past few days the Philippines is battered by a typhoon, causing a huge flood in Manila. Dozens dead and many homeless. At 1.40am Malaysian time, an earthquake with a magnitude of 8.00 on the Richter scale struck somewhere near Samoa, causing a tsunami that is 3 feet high to hit the shores. Damage is quite extensive. The American Govt has declared American Samoa as a disaster zone. And jsut now,6.14pm Malaysian Time, an earthquake struck Southern Sumatera with a strength of 7.90 on the Richter scale. No tsunami was reported, though the USGS issued a warning for tsunami. Makes me wonder if we are ever thankful for what we have and what GOd gave us in life.
